Today we tried a brunch place in Clarke Quay: Wanna Cuppa. Even thought the place exists since 2016, we never tried it as Clarke Quay isn’t the place we think to go to for Brunch. We found the place on the Entertainer app, where it offers a one-for-one deals on main courses!
The place is conveniently located, just next to the Clarke Quay MRT. From outside, the place looks very welcoming. The decoration is very nice, with two different areas: one at the entrance with tables for two and one a bit further down with cosy couches and chairs, aggremanted with… Trees!! Very cool idea making the place looks like a secret garden.
We went there at about 2:30pm and it wasn’t crowded. It actually felt really good to spend time in a café where you can hear each other without screaming… Good soundproofing seems to be hard to find in SG ;-).
Florian ordered Clams pasta ($20) and I went for Pancakes ($10) with a Matcha latte ($6). Food was good, but not extraordinary (pancakes mainly were good but a bit boring). Maybe we didn’t pick the right items on the menu, as people at other tables had paninis and other types of pastas. We will definitely come back to try out the paninis!
